ABOUT THE PROJECT :
Nestled in the lively neighborhood of New BEL Road, this thoughtfully designed café redefines spatial dynamics through the creative integration of a mezzanine floor. At the heart of the design is a bold red staircase—a sculptural centerpiece that not only connects levels but also anchors the visual experience.
Local artworks and hand-painted frames enliven the interiors, weaving a narrative that celebrates community and creativity. An open-plan layout fosters fluid interaction between the ground and mezzanine levels, while the contrast of exposed concrete and warm wood establishes an industrial yet inviting ambiance.
Strategic openings usher in natural light, enriching the texture of materials and enhancing the overall warmth. The addition of indoor greenery softens the palette, adding a calming, biophilic touch.
Carefully curated lighting highlights architectural elements and ensures a cozy atmosphere after dusk. With flexible seating arrangements, the café caters to both intimate solitude and vibrant social gatherings, offering a versatile urban retreat.
